# url_not_allowed

> A webhook delivery was not sent because the endpoint's URL failed our egress rules at send time (the delivery's `lastError`, and an endpoint's `disabledReason`; not an HTTP status).

Not an HTTP error.

**Likely causes:**

- The host now resolves to a non-public address (for example after a DNS change).
- The URL was registered before the rules applied and is not https://, or names an internal host or address; such endpoints are disabled.

**What to do:** Point the endpoint at an https URL that resolves only to public addresses, re-enable it, then resend missed events inside the resend window.

**Retry:** No. The same request gets the same answer; change something first.
