# stop_wrong_side

> Signal webhook: the stop loss or take profit is on the wrong side of the current price.

HTTP 422. Nothing reached the broker.

**Likely causes:**

- A buy's stop loss above the bid, or a sell's stop loss below the ask (and the other way round for a take profit).
- The price moved past the stop before the alert arrived.

**What to do:** Check the stop price, or send it as a distance (points, pips or percent). Nothing was sent.

**Retry:** No. The same request gets the same answer; change something first.
