# spread_too_wide

HTTP 422. Nothing reached the broker.

**Likely cause:** max_spread_points is set and the spread was above it when the alert arrived.

**What to do:** Closing still works. Raise max_spread_points, or wait for a tighter spread. Nothing was sent.

**Retry:** No. The same request gets the same answer; change something first.
