# side_not_allowed

HTTP 422. Nothing reached the broker.

**Likely cause:** allowed_sides is long or short, and the alert asked for the other side.

**What to do:** On a reversal the close still runs. Change allowed_sides if this side should trade. Nothing was sent.

**Retry:** No. The same request gets the same answer; change something first.
