# http_error

> An HTTP error with no more specific code.

Source: https://tickwire.io/docs/errors/http_error/

HTTP 404, 405.

**Likely causes:**

- Status page API: the path or method does not exist (a typo in the URL, or the wrong HTTP method).
- MCP tool result: the Tickwire API answered with an HTTP error whose body had no code of its own; `message` gives the HTTP status.

**What to do:** Check the path and the method. From an MCP tool, read `message` and retry only if the status says it is temporary (429 or 5xx).

**Retry:** No. The same request gets the same answer; change something first.

Listed under [Requests and validation](https://tickwire.io/docs/errors/#requests-and-validation) in [Errors](https://tickwire.io/docs/errors/). Send the error's `requestId` to support and we can find the request.
